About Rishi's

Rishi’s has been influenced by thousands of years of South Indian culture, the food at Rishi’s Indian Aroma has been carefully prepared to present an interesting and exciting representation of one of the world’s most popular cuisines.

The name Rishis implies purity and this is the ethos behind the restaurant. Here at Rishis emphasis will be placed to suit the South-Indian palate which includes south Indian specialities like Dosas, Idlis, Vadas, Chettinad varieties etc, at the same time we have something to offer for everyone.

We also have restaurants in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Tonight was our first visit to Rishi’s but certainly won’t be the last. It had a friendly atmosphere and the staff were lovely, attentive but without being intrusive. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully prepared, some of the best we have had!

Wonderful and crispy Dosa. Visited after a long time as we were not too happy before. But not to worry this time around the dosa was fantastic 😋. We will be back for more. The service was fantastic as well.

The food was great. There was a really good selection. The service was brilliant. We honestly had such a good time while we were there, secretly glad the other place was closed. I would return in a heartbeat & wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rishis to anyone.

As always, great food with excellent service. The portions are huge so always plenty to go around and share. One of the best restaurants in Dundee.

Can’t believe it! Really can’t! We ordered the 5 foot dosa thinking “yeah whatever!” and then BOOM! The most delicious rolled bread we’ve ever had arrived at the table. The potato curry and dhal, and the the dips, especially the red one which tested our tongues! The mains were heaven and the rice was exciting like the naughty bits of hell! Thank you Rishi’s…we’ll be back x
